Harudes was a gladiator from Germania who later joined Spartacus rebellion against the Roman Republic. Following the Battle at the Silarus River in 71 BC, Harudes was crucified on the orders of Marcus Licinius Crassus.


Early Life

Harudes was born into the Aduatuci tribe of Germania in 107 BC. He grew up fighting against countless warring tribes and raids, until eventually he was captured in battle by one of these tribes, and eventually sold to the Romans. Taken to Italy by the Romans, he was eventually sold to an unnamed Lanista in the city of Capua, and trained as a Gladiator for over ten years.
